These kinds of "mistakes" are needed to be made in the correspondence with matter_c_h_0_d Indian government B_a_b_u_s who will not do their work unless they are made to feel like the latest Avatar of Lord Vishnu when interacting with them!

Perfect! Repeation if Kindly pls thanx and thanx again at best when dealing with these MCs.
In my view, the basic grammar mistakes aside, the present day contamination of the English language in general and Indian English in particular, is largely due to the American English in a variety of forms: Hollywood films, American TV programmes, the Internet, the Internet chat lingo and the SMS lingo.
Of course, there is also our Indian tendency of crude transliterating from the mother tongue when speaking in English.
We are the people who show off much. See China, they don't know much english but their goods are flooded in Indian Markets whereas we are simply busy correcting our english.

japanese r never ashamed of not knowing gud english. becoz they r proud of their own langauge .. but we indians always create a fuss for everything under the sun ..
"What's your good name?" should never be used, instead,"Could I (please) know your name?" or "May I (please) know your name?" or "Could you (please) tell me your name?" are better choices.

Every culture has its traits. The English spoken by Americans, Irish etc is different. There is nothing wrong with 'good name' as it is a literal translation of ' shubh naam' !
