Being born as a boy, one must remain as a boy and not get transformed to a girl. This is an act of playing with nature's gift to youby converting oneself into a girl. Those commentors who are all well laden with support for him/her should get their brothers married to this man/lady and then let me see how much of support you can really feel for him/her then on this issue.

Very Couragious Person

Unfortunately in India, the discrimination against transgender (and also against gay and lesbians) is rooted in the general ignorance of science and human genetics. The government must make laws that treats bullying, intimidation and job-discrimination severely punishable.

Congratulations to Kalki that despite all the bullying that she suffered from ignorant persons around her she has been able to set an example for others.

good achievement
by someone on Jan 07, 2015 09:19 PM

this is really a great achievement. to be honest others will treat you how you treat yourself. in India most of the transgenders are happy to make money without making any effort.... and result is they being treated badly and somewhere they also are fine with it... in western countries they have equal rights... they study, work, and make their own fortune.... Kalkiji as you are saying most of them are in social work... may be you are right... but some of them are living a life of beggar they need some to lift them up... if you can lead by example... it might help them a lot... it might help society to change their views upon them....

You may have to visit Bangkok to find out the ratio from each Asian region then you can understand the reality

There is a temple in Tamil Nadu and people from all over India come there once in a year

One reason could be, they are bit respected in TN thru politicians like Ms KaniMozhi as well as media which sets up a wrong perception for you
