Every research has different meaning after next research. Ghee, coconut oil, and yougurt, milk are very good. Saturated fat in these are easily soluble and helpful. Ghee must be used only in Raw format.
If we have to avoid all these foods to avoid cholesterol, then what is left to eat ? Please also provide a list of what foods to eat as well to help reduce cholesterol.
I do agree with Keiran and others. There is a myth about coconut oil saying that it is saturated therefore it accumulates cholesterol. Now the latest scientific evidences show that though it is saturated but it contains medium chain fatty acids (C12-lauric acid) which is easily digestable as compared to long chain fatty acids. Moreover it has high ratio of HDL/LDL which is good and contributes less to cholesterol. Hence, coconut oil is a good oil.
coconut fat is healthiest fat in the world. it contains MCFA or medium chain fatty acids and lauric acid which can fight AIDS virus. Please Google about benefits of MCFA/MCFT and don't be led by these ignorant nutritionists

I entirely agree with you. Eat what you please. Burn it to convert it into energy. Enjoy the life. You live only once.
This article has definitely been written by a paid agent of some vegan organization.......now let me add some counter facts. A pure vegan is someone who does not even consume milk, milk products and eggs. Such vegans are grossly deficient in iron and B12(cyanocobalamin). which leads to fatigue, tiredness and malaise easily. People who eat the above mentioned foods in moderation are energetic, healthy, strong. So, pls wake up early in the morning....have a nice hot cup of buffalo milk with Bournvita, have a nice fluffy 2 egg omelette on toast with butter generously applied, have your cheese sandwich and go to work. You will be energetic and happy. and ignore such misleading articles.

Don't fall to this well written articles. Our ancestors have consumed all these products and led healthy life for long years, why all of a sudden within the last couple of decades have these food products become unhealthy? Its more to do with exercising and getting the stuff digested well then eating them.

Unfortunately int he long run fatty foods turn out to be cheaper than healthy foods and the lower income groups end up eating the unhealthy stuff. Thats what is happening in the US right now.
