Nationalised banks are better
by Kemsal Marian on Dec 03, 2012 01:06 PM

I had experience with standard chartered bank and axis bank both these banks are sailing in the same boat, think twice when you deal with these banks. Our nationalised banks are far better than them.

Personal Loan from Axis Bank NEVER TAKE IT
by Monya on Nov 04, 2012 10:52 PM

Axis Bank is highly non-professional in all its products. They do not give any copies of agreements signed for loans, they talk over phone but not in writing, which is legally incorrect. They are capable of harassing you for their mistakes. BEWARE ALL- NEVER TAKE ANY LOAN FROM AXIS BANK. If they are unable to manage the loans they sell it off (called assignment to some other "Loan collection" agencies or corporates, who will arm-twist you to pay more than your actual dues. This is my real experience and hence I AM WRITING THIS AS A WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE, who may approach AXIS BANK FOR ANY TYPE OF LOAN

Sameexperience with Axis Bank
by Satya Vyas on Oct 14, 2012 08:54 PM

I had a similar story with Axis Bank. The relationship manager wanted to open my account. He assured me a zero balance account. but soon I found that they were deducting Rs. 250 every quareter if I did not maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 5000. I have very good services from my public sector bank (Indian Bank). With the facility of accessing any atm five times a montth, a vredit card with no hidden cost (I have paid zero interest on my credit card for last five years), and internet banking, I hardly need any thing extra.

One of the biggest cheats is the Standard Chartered Bank with absolutely unprofessional staff. Stay away from this bank .

It is an open secret that pvt banks cheat customers whenever and wherever they can. I fully trust PSU banks even though one has to wait for a while to get the required service. They will not destroy your mental peace, sure

EXPERIENCE WITH NATIONALISED BANKS
by Rajiv Bakshi on Oct 01, 2012 05:21 PM  | Hide replies

These days Nationalised Banks are giving BETTER SERVICE than the Private Banks. I hv myself retired as SENIOR MANAGER of a nationalised bank after putting in 35 years of service. Private banks donot oblidge their customers even an inch. It is the other way around in Public sector banks. A small personal experience will suffice. I went to a PRIVATE BANK to collect the FDR of my son. I gave them the name of my son. The amount of FDR . The period for which FDR was made. The due date. I told them my name . my phone number. My sons email id. His phone number. Still the lady was reluctant to give the FDR. She wanted my I card. If this was the case in a nationalised bank the BRANCH MANAGER would hv offered me tea and insisted me to deposit my retirement benefits with his bank ******

Dear Sir,
I have a different opinion.PVT baks are getting customer because of their services while NATIONALISED BANKS because of non ava in that region or old/govt employee. It takes just 5 min for draft in any good MNC bank while 5 hrs in SBI and any other NATIONALISED BANKS.
I am not sure if your bank from where u got retired will even entertain you without ur ID card than how can you expect MNC banks.

Activities of Banks prejudicial to the interest of the customers
by Gauranga Bhattacharya on Oct 01, 2012 05:14 PM

Banks cannot violate BCSBI Code. Should they violate and as a result any customer suffers, he should initiate his case with the Banking Ombudsman. The erring bank would get a lesson !
