wired or wireless way of charge transfer ?
by afzal aziz on Nov 28, 2012 02:57 PM

Can electricity charge stored in battery be transferred wireless to another device? transmitting electricity wireless to a device is rather inefficient and dangerous.

Practical Thinking Minds...
by sampath kumar on Nov 27, 2012 11:32 AM

It is very good to see these children coming up with ideas for practical problems that either they or their surrounding people encountered...

It doesn't matter how successful these ideas would be in implementation but the creativity and out of the box thinking is what we need to appreciate.

I request the parents of kids who pester them to keep on studying to give them freedom to think, clear their doubts, encourage them for their every idea, inspire them with stories of great inventors and discoverers.

Hats off to each and every child for his idea and wish them a wonderful future.

Great Job Kids
by philip xavier on Nov 26, 2012 04:00 PM  | Hide replies

I myself have an idea which I need to put forward. I would like to put smart cards in all vehicles in India, this should be secured in a place where it cannot be damaged or stolen. This card should have all the history of the vehicle, this should be linked to all the toll booths and should be linked to GPS. Moreover there should be speed sensors everywhere, when the speed sensors catches a vehicle with over speed and pass on the information to smart card which stores the data, when the vehicle goes for FC then all the data can be reviewed and the fines can be collected. Even the police can check the smart cards at check points and collect the fines

Come and buy a car here in UK and Europe you will get all what you want in a car that you have thought off.
All this is already available in all cars here.
History of the vehicle, GPS tracking, Speeding cameras ( those yellow boxes you see on the road side), Speed warning, Stolen vehicle data, False number plate detection, Road tax detection and much more all is here in UK, USA and Europe.
India is to far behind in such technology, not that it is manufactures fault its public and government.
Public of India see it as invasion of their privacy and government Neta, Babus don't make any money out of it.

That is not the fault of the GPS map provider. people do not up date their receivers regularly.
GPS map information is not live, one has to down load and update the information.
I have been using GPS since last 10 years both in UK and Europe regularly, never had a single mishap or GPS has let me down in any way.
Any way GPS maps are automaticaly updated now.
As for India it will not happen, unless some politician stands to make tons of cash form it.
That is why Google was not allowed to map India for Google street view maps.

Sagar Chandak - Your idea may not be viable, ACCORDING to Einstein's theory E = Mc2 When the train is moving forward, the resistance offered by the rooftop fan or fan blades will neutralize any gains on account of sav ing electricity inside the cabins as the engine will require more fuel to pull the train.
