The waiter removes the dining plates after a customer leaves the table and continues to serve the next customer. He never washes his hands in between. In many hotels the waiters removing the plates are the same one who serve. For removing the leftover plates, a separate guy should be appointed which is not found in any hotel
CCTV cameras should be installed inside the kitchens and TVs showing what is happening inside the kitchen should be made available to be viewed by the customers.
1. Today's left over rice goes to tomorrow's idly 2. Today's left over gobi goes to tomorrow's vada 3. Man who killed the chicken may not be alive when it is cooked 4. Vegetables that are about to be rotten are available cheaply 5. Thick masala can dissolve bad taste of any rotten food 6. Left over oil from fried fish can be used in preparing masalas 7. Same oil can be used continuously for 1 year, heating it 1000 times 8. Just dip the used plates in water and rub with dried cloth, never use too much of energy to scrub with soap 9. Same tea dust can be used to prepare 25 teas 10. Never spend too much of time to clean the kitchen, after all, entry for customers is restricted
This article throws light only on 5 / 3 star restaurants, which a common man cannot even think of. Ordinary restaurants are even dirtier and they are never in news, admissions to their kitchens are strictly prohibited. Why doesn't these ppl carry out a sting operation on such restaurants???

India Shining, a suggestion if I may.. go onboard firefox and you get different plugins to stop popups and video etc etc ... may be worth a try.
I have a friend of mine, who used to a five star chef , he told me secrets which are not only scary but you will think twice before going their!!
If the chef/butler is not satisfied with the customers could be due to not enough or no tips they play havoc with there food if they turn up next time, like
1. before serving the bread ..they would stamp it twice with their feet(not mention feets with shoes on) , clean it and serve them again.
2. If you have offended any waiters or chef, next time if you order you favorites chicken dishes, make sure you should be able to differentiate what meat you are eating... it could be anything from Rats/dogs to snake...chefs knows..how deceive your taste
3. You should never never have drinks in those hotels where you feel you are not treated well - I dont want to say anything... people can have their own judgements :-)
Like these there are several ways in which the customers can be deceived ... well people should use their common sense other than sense of taste !!!
