Visually impaired IAS candidate

No doubt his fight is heroic. But just think, what are the responsibilities of IAS officer? He has to interact with public, face politicians, face agitating public at times he has to exercise majestirial powers. Will he be able to do it? Very sad. Indian mentality is like this. Anything new/execptional is treated as good, it need not be necessarily.

I agree with U but plz tell me how many IAS are collector or DM, few and in a state they are tripple than district. so rest the IAS are siting in a room and acing like a babu cursing their posting but people like Ajit and a lady 100 % disability of eye are competent enough to clear the IAS exam, their brain may be used for development of the mother land by le them sit in a room n plan. Dont u feel is pracical. every IAS is not facing Politicians, public or so.

"My only motive to join the coveted services is to do something for the betterment of people and society"
