Get real. IAS/IRS/IPS officials receive 10% corrupt money on every scam in India. For e.g they got $100 million for manipulating accounts/taxes in Satyam scam.
First congrats to Rukmani for topping in exams. Currently country is badly suffering Water crisis, especially in rural areas where water is still out of reach. We've so many good & talented IAS officers then why we're not able to overcome on these problems permanently. Still common man is struggling to get his work done in govt. offices and many IAS/IPS officer abuse/manhandle their subordinates... After taking charge they start thinking almost equal to ministers. I expect from IAS/IPS a very good & long term plan plan which can solve basic problem like power,water & road problems and take our country to highest level......

Hearty congratulations but as IAS you hardly serve the nation now a days and anybody who tries is shunted out, so decide yourself it is for sake of saying or you actually want it. If it is latter than be prapared to face lot of hardships.

I do not think that brillant boys/girls do not compit in IAS entry exam since they know that they would have to obey the orders of corrupt politicians
