AIIMS doctor has cheated the Nation.
by sushanta mishra on May 29, 2012 10:59 AM  | Hide replies

Agreed.
Medical service is a service for humanity.A doctor, that too from AIIMS like institution by joining Civil service has cheated the nation. Govt spend around one crore for a medical student of AIIMS. But these people are joing Civil service only to enjoy power, luxury & make illegal income in a short span of time.Govt. should ban people from IIT & AIIMS like institution from apearing in Civil service. Because Govt is spending heavily for them to produce world class doctors & engineer & not to produce IAS officer.

Is the civil service a good option for the brightest young people
by chayan ghosh on May 10, 2012 08:40 PM

Once a candidate is selected for Babu-dom, he or she automatically becomes prisoner of system where he or she is bound to serve the whims of political boss. Sometimes, the political boss is half educated or always out to increase his personal wealth.
Though the achievement of topper is commendable, yet there is vast sphere for working in their own field globally. Money and honour also follow them.

Biharis have lowered the esteem of IAS
by Mahesh V on May 07, 2012 01:20 AM  | Hide replies

Biharis want to get into IAS just to get a big fat dowry. They attend coaching classes and get into IAS. Once they r there, they only think of minting money.

I think time 4 u to change it & apply for IAS as thts d only way u can contribute & remove one Bihari out of the top list. So tht we all cn see a Rajasthani or others in top rank who fearlessly works for the country & not for himself instead of sitting on ur pc & saying against a state, its better to widen ur knowledge dude & apply for the test :)Also would request you to improve ur GK/IQ as Bihar currently has d highest GDP growth ;)Just a hint so tht u prepare well

bihar lost its way only due to casteism, but it is everywhere now.we removed it & are now growing highest GDP growth, much ahead on INDIA's GDP,& comparable to CHINA GDP (highest in world).
Bihar was the 2nd best state from independence to 1977.
Land of Buddism,Jainism & 1st democracy of world(vaishali kingdom).
Bihari's wereever they are they work hard,& that's why gujarat, punjab ,delhi etc has developed fast. but still you feel proud to say against those who serves you.but we wont do it when you will serve us.that's bihari.
In morena last month on IPS officer died by stone mafia,he was Bihari.
1st President of India,Current loksabha Speaker,President of Mauritius,IIT Toppers , IAS toppers ,in NASA ,in West Asia,in CANADA,in USA ,in Saudi ,Iran ,Iraq,Afganistan,Indonesis,Malaysia Bihari's are everywhere & working hard everywhere & contributing to development working 8-10 works hard a day..No weekend enjoy like you or party or time spent among girls.
UPSC is not fool, they accept those who work hard & sacrifice.
You run after fun, girls & get bore after 3-4 hour study. You miss freedom fighter b'day , but not of bollywood stars.you cant work in sun for even 5-6 hours daily.

Physically challenged not under separate quota?
by baski on May 05, 2012 01:08 AM

This is surprising. Everybody wants to be declared backward but it is only in India physical disability comes after caste backwardness.

civil service exam
by raman govindan on May 04, 2012 06:19 PM  | Hide replies

coaching helps applicants from delhi to obtain rank!

in tamil a proverb, taught word and the packaged home made food does not last the overnight journey!

the exam should be conducted over a period of 5 years! there should be improvement in the candidate every year! they should not exist to appear for the exam! but should have a full time career and support themselves financially! married one with children should be given a few marks as bonus!

i think the civil servants who come out of such grinding should prove better!

the present exam helps persons of means to stay in Delhi like cities, attend coaching classes, prepare themselves with a better chances for success!
