The 'obey first culture' of the armed forces can be slightly stifling but for those who brave the odds, the uniformed life still remains an attractive option. this seems a farce after how the Chief has behaved. Did he follow what you have written. Will juniors obey or go to court over every issue? Will political parties indirectly instigate litigation? Will successors also go to court?
While the author has mentioned entry into the defence forces thru the NDA,he has not talked about the entry after graduation thru the advanced training institutions(IMA,AFA and Naval Academy).Also,ladies can serve the forces as well.Entry is thru OTA (SSC)....Rediff,pls research more before u post articles on career options.half info can be dangerous.

there are NCC cadets'entry too.please post full information on all types of entries in all the three services and method to apply & contact email,tele,address etc.
