In case of vote bank politics, a politician will always act and say only what is likable to their vote banks and else every thing is bad for him. This is taking the coutry in back gear but who is to bother.

At present, who doubts each and every person of the public, can screw him and mint money.
O top of it all for EVERY CRIME,whether it be corruption, drunk driving rape the accused irrespective of his richnss or connection to politicians should be denied bail until he serves at least 7 days in jail(that itself is a punishment and cases should be dealt with as quick as they can.

But hardly any politician or bureacrat is punished finally, they return to their old pattern in due course of time. Only public people if framed are sufferring maximum.
With reference to Mr. Rajiv Shivashankar's comments - actually the the Communists were right in 1947, and the only time ever, when they said - "Yeh Azadi Jhoota Hai". All our politicians have been and are husslers of classic proportion. They, including the Commie variety have usurped peoples' power. And their grip is so all pervasive - no chance of freedom from their clutches in the foreseeable future.

Media ingnores Hooliganism by certain faction & keeps mum - No protests -no complaints filed - No publicity of Incidence -like they keep on showing the whole day-repeating thousands of time, even though 3 OB Vans of channels were burnt. In some other cases, attacks on their offices were shown on channels the whole next day & several miscreants were jailed in severe injured conditions.
Of Course, We Need Independence from Corrupt Media.
Well said. All points are covered, but one is missing. India needs urgent indepedence from these eveil politicians who have destroyed the nation, be they from any party or region.
The basic difference between an European/American/Pakistani/Japanese and Indian businessmen is- majority of Western and Pakistani entrepreneurs are educated, well qualified professionals/scientists, while most of the Indian industrialists are nothing but typical Lala type salesman (NOT businessman, per se). They invest in any new venture depending on its past success in some other place. For them, investing in shopping mall or grocery store is no different than Biotech or any knowledge based industry. That's why such Lala companies can not prosper much in ANY knowledge based industry- including routine IT or BioTech business. Such Banya businessmen (like Reliance or Birla type business houses) cannot even judge potential of any novel or newly emerging technology or product even if you show/give it to them first. They can not understand who is bluffing and who is capable. They do not know how to manage a honest and straight forward person- the bare essential for anyone to become a real scientist or technocrat (not technician).

Can you tell me as how much Microsoft Owner is educated? I feel the major difference is in social base. Our family ties are more prominent, which sometimes restricts expansion of busyness by young generation in new ventures. In western countries children have to fend for themselves after age of 18, which is not the case in our country, which may be affecting 'Independent Thinking' by the young ones. You may not be aware, but one Indian business has started & flourished by an Independent thinking by the young one, which was backed by the family - it is 'Videocon'.
I do not know whether there are any busyness houses in Pakistan. You might have erred in the mention.
