The blame for misuse of subsidy for education is valid only for government run institutions. What about those doctors who graduate out of private/self financing courses? Are there going to be two sets of rules for students from government run and from private colleges? And why are the doctors leaving in the first instance? Does any body care to compare the ratio of under gratuate seats to post graduate seats in india and usa? the government is not interested in public health care and paying only lip service to the cause. They just want to create more and more mbbs doctos with little or no scope for p g education so that they have to turn to government service where the doctors are simply paid peanuts. And just dont forget the 'revolutionary' idea of preparing a cadre of semi trained but much hyped cadre of persons especially for rural areas. Add to it the proposal to enhance the duration of mbbs to 6.5 yers. and there you have it - the recipe for an impending public health disaster. Just do some intospection- have you not seen a decline in the number (and capability) of high school students who still wish to go for medical education? Do you have a doctor in your family/social circle?Have you ever discussed with them? Will the public of india ever ask for answers from the real culprits-the leaders(a bunch of shameless, self serving & disgrace to the nation) who in turn depend on i.a.s(an elite club of p.m.t and p.e.t failures, corrupt, conniving group with super eg
this should also mean that all politicians cannot go to US for any kind of treatment and they should mandatorily get treated in India. Are they willing to sign this sort of bond?

Not only doctors all who had taken education and are in employment abroad should be asked to give some per cent of their salary as visa fee as they had studied on nation's money.
How is it fair to expect Indian Tax Payers to subsidize medical education for students who go abroad to work once they have their medical degrees. Medical Colleges in India have some NRI seats for which students are expected to pay twenty times the regular fees. If medical graduates are desperate to go overseas then they should be asked to refund to the Indian Government an amount equal to the difference in fees for studying medicine in India and the nation that they decide to settle in. Is that not fair?
Take a bond for the amount that spents to became a doctor in USA..The money is the blood of poor indians paying Tax.Only people of India are suppose to harvest and not by the persong flying aboard for money. Also he or she will take their couter part also from India. S.Elangovan
