SAS training is for battle hardened soldiers..NDA is training camp for new recruits..so i think NDA is nothing compared to SAS training. Sure NDA does exemplery job of producing good soldiers..but calling it worlds toughest is going over the top!

do you believe pakis and chaineese are not trained...? they too spends billions of dollars in buying the new toys of mass destruction..I think we still need the toughest army and latest sophisticated equipments..

War is the only test of military strength. So all countries need wars in every generation, otherwise continuity of military ability would brake when the old soldiers leave.
Today I have seen a piece of news in the Hindustan Times.It reads like this: Impressed by the Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots who rescued an american mountaineer stranded at 23000 feet near Siachen recently,the US planned to honour the helicopter unit for its feat.The US defence attache in New Delhi has sought permission to come to Leh to present a plaque to the 114 helicopter unit. The unit is known as Siachen Pioneers is stationed at Leh air base and has been involved in several such opertions.

NDA selection is made on entrance exam where lazy armchair children of rich mostly (UC) parents pass it and become senior officers. The soldiers come from poor BC regiments, Mahar, Jat, gadhwali etc. India will become rome. These officers become corrupt and lead a cozy life. they have no intention of sacrificing their life for thier nation

Stop being glamorous about army. It suits only adolescent children. The army is a killing machine that we breed for an objective. It must always obey us. But its a double edged sword and must always be kept in its place and under control
