this topic keeps mentioning gals joining an office.. i agree it may not be fake story.. but wht about guys!!! i am victim too. i joined top IT comapny of india and my senior female lead gave me lower rating becoz i did not respond to her sexual advances. it may seem fake but i was new in comapny and had no idea that all this happens in offices.. i never had any gf in college. my first exp. with gal was life changing.. i came to know they are not fair either. everyone uses his/her power. so pls stop picturing one side..

that is the real story, no. gal actually get harrassed is very minimal compared to no. of boys harrassed, no constitutional law, no organizational policy, no social NGOs or nobody supports or have arrangement to support save boys/men from harrassment that is why now in society the women have become so aggressive and selfish and cheap they are using every now and then some tactics to get their ends meet and terrified the society. I am also recently a victim of Dowry harrassment case (498A) which is totally false and baseless by my wife who never stayed with me since marriage , and my parents are far away in another city and never lived with me since marriage, despite that she filed a case and police came to arrest all of us and my organization does not support either as many are women at top and totally feminist , every now n then men are getting exploited. As per govt record every 6.9 Mins one husband committing suicide whereas every 15.2 mins one wife committing suicide but nobody dares to write or print anything in support of men

If this lady...

... is / was indeed the marketing manager of ginger hotels (as indicated), I would say that she must work hard to make this business worthwhile. It is a stupid concept to start with. Western countries are short of manpower and hence the do-yourself budget business hotels make a lot of sense. You can stay in spic-and-span inns in US for as less as $50-60 and a little more in Europe. Here the cost of labor is very less. In India, Ginger started out with the correct vibes - a decent place to stay for business and leisure without any added frills - but they have completely failed in the implementation. Their hotels are shoddy dungeons with stinking bathrooms, strained carpets and walls. To put it mildly, no-frills Ginger is a dirty hotel that charge 2-3 times more than the hotels providing the same level of cleanliness and comfort.

She should be first ashamed to be rising in the corporate ladder of the group's hotel business, when the business itself is a big failure and stinks terribly

Film industry is a mafia
by umamahesh kar on Sep 15, 2011 07:16 PM  | Hide replies

The film industry - boolywood or any other is a mafia controlled by few families. This is not the first instance - Shakti kapoor, Bandarkar, etc are examples of how industry supported them even though evidence (not sure about bhandarkar) was so overwhelmingly against them. This is because all indulge in such activities.

This may be true in some cases u cannot absolve the women who indeed sleep their way to the top and progress ahead of the more worthy male colleagues in return of favors rendered. Women are not as weak as they may seem. Most of them know exactly where their strengths lie and a good percentage are not afraind of uisng their strengths in an unfair manner as well. So stop with the male bashing all the time and once in a while do write abt the women who vilify and poison the working atmosphere by going to any extent to meet their ambitions. Not only men but other decent and hard working, strainght playing women too are victins of this kind of women so that should be brought to the attention too.....

Consider the following statements:
1. The problems caused by Islamic Jehad worldwide need to be addressed only when one also talks about the damages caused by Buddhist terrorists.
2. Since some NGOs and grass roots organizations also indulge in corrupt means, one must not alsways 'bash' the government for corruption when it is also present elsewhere.

If either of these statements appears a little ludicrous then let me draw a parallel with your statement above. These are not ludicrous because of the lack of truth in them; rather it is that they completely disregard the potent and extent of the other threat. In much the same way, while people in power can be abusive - man or woman - and there are some instances of women abusing their power too, it in NO WAY compares to the extent of sexual harassment by men which happens almost in every work environment and on a daily basis. The point here is specific about gender, and how one gender is abusing the other, particularly by men who are threatened easily by smart empowered women. So to talk about vicious minded people in this context is at best naive, and at worst, is distracting from the much more prevalent problem.
