Rules for Patriarchial family II
by Sathya Sathya on Nov 28, 2011 07:45 PM  | Hide replies

The sister has a good life in college, would get a posh job, would marry a well settled man early in life, and trouble her husband. The brother would work very very hard for 10 years in the garage, then marry, and he has to hear about "womens' right" from his wife who had good life so far; she won't be able to tolerate even slight inconveniences because her parents have brought her up like that (enjoying college, no need to study very hard). I am not telling this after seeing one family; this is the general trend now. I have seen many posh offices (e.g., banks, schools) which have 95% of women staff; but, attenders, cleaners and tea boys were all men.

Statistics shows that women are more educated than men, when the whole world is considered as a whole. But, womens' enrolment is low in science and technology; women do not want to do (or men do not expect women to do) hard work.

Only a foolish man can believe that a man has more preveleges when compared to women in a patriarchial society.

Rules for "patriarchial society"
by Sathya Sathya on Nov 28, 2011 07:42 PM

In a patriarchial society, men are compelled to do extreme hard work. Similarly, in true matriarchial society, women do extreme hard work. This is not my own opinion, I read this when reading about a matriarchial tribe.

In our society, men HAVE TO get best education; they HAVE TO get most paid jobs. This is the kind of pressure men face. Women do not face this pressure, hence can live a better life, and in fact because of less pressure may perform better than men. If they are not successful, they can use their husbands' position and money anyway.

Men do not get any preference in admission for education or employment, but women do. But, men HAVE TO perform well in education and HAVE TO get a well paid job; even after giving preference in admissions and employment, it is OPTIONAL for women to perform well. What is this? What I am telling this is true atleast for this century. All the posh jobs are for women; hard jobs for men. I do not see anyone around me (in any of the social strata) who do not educate a person just because she is a woman. I have seen many families, where a boy works in a garage, while his sister studies BA; It is not that the boy was not interested to study; he was equally competent as his sister; in a "patriarchial" society the boy had to take family resposibilities; another reason for the boy to take up work is that his parents know that he would not get any preference whereas his sister might get while trying for a posh job, hence why not was
