The Best Way to beat Stress

1. Life is Imperfect. Accept this fact and smile :-)

2. Try to stay out of Debt. A life free of Debt is better and provides you independence to be yourself, rather than a life of debt trying to fulfill "wants" rather than "needs"

3. Your company will not come to take care of your family and personal life (friends). Therefore, spend time with family and friends. work only until 6pm. Get out of office. If you follow Point#2 meticulously, then no worries. Lose a job, find another one!

4. Your job is not your life. It is a way to make your life better. Read this again.

5. We are human beings not machines.
Human beings have emotions and that is why we are different. It is alright to be stressed!!

Enjoy and No Worries
Now Implement it. Enjoy your life friends.

Correct.
Like to add one more thing.
Bosses are there to criticise you whether you do well or badly. So don't take the criticism seriously and personally as bosses are meant for that.

Philosophy says, desires are the root cause of miseries.

It is reasonable to have basic minimum desires at certain level, but today most of the people have excess desires to achieve things, thereby automatically pushing them into stressful situations, if desires are controlled, stress is controlled. Of course, that is not in one's hands.

Lord krishna says in the gita - Bhumirapo analo vayuhu .... meaning, bhumi, jal, agni, vayu, akash, manas, buddhi, ahankar all are my maya in eight types and are under my control and only through my sole grace one can cross such maya.

Human body and mind all are covered in the eight mayas - so it is really not possible to overcome that unless one is blessed.

this is really a good one. I often find exercise relieve my stress. If I am not doing exercise, I feel more stress. also the point about good food. sometimes, people with their workload, skip meals, this is a very bad thing. if u r a software professional or a researcher, which needs lot of brain work, u must feed regularly as ur brain requires double the energy while working than ur total body. In my opinion a combination of good diet and exercise and proper scheduling of ur work help get rid of stress

U r Right.. Food you each actually controls your Mind & leading to actions.. It is believed that the Mind/State of thoughts of the person who prepares & Serves food also matters.. Stress is more related to the Mind than the actual Body.. But feeling fit gives a confidence.. that looks like releasing stress but actually.. Do what you like doing for atleast an hour a day.. Brings down Stress.. Balaji

"Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured. And endure what cannot be cured." - B.K.S. Iyengar.
I would strongly advise to make Yoga a part of your daily life ti overcome stress. Yoga benefits all three main aspects of life - the spirit, mind, and body. There are also some basic practical yoga benefits I should mention. Consider the simplicity and ease of yoga. It fits into your everyday life as easily as any basic workout program. And unlike many programs, you don't need any special equipment other than a spot on the floor, your mind, and your body. And while many exercises only benefit the body, yoga benefits the whole person. So get cracking straightaway.
