And also people making negative comments should realize one day you can be a father or mother of a homosexual child,by not understanding their state of mind at that time,you are being cruel..to your own kin...so these articles are educating people the pain homosexuals go through,they are normal people ...thats what we should understand

wait! What do u mean by praveen "Everyone has freedom to do whatever he likes....."? This can only be applied to Animals. Humanbeing has certain criteria for which they are called human beings. Unsocial, Uncommon, Unnatural, these are the few words which are applied to human beings as we are SOCIAL. And it concerns others always when someone does something out of normal behavior. Is it allowable if someone (u said has freedom) will do Incest?

Nobody becomes gay by learning from others... In the same manner Nobody becomes a Straight Person by learning from others .. A person is either born straight or gay or bisexual and one cannot convert a person from one category to the other ...

if this is alright then why not legalise necrophelia(with dead bodies), animal s**,pedeophiles(with children). There are 16 forms why dont people start doing all this then and decriminalize it.
Since no body intentionally becomes a gay, it is a feeling that a man or woman automatically and unintentionallay feels and which he cant hide or change even if he wants to. So it is a creation of nature as it is and we have to accept it like many other disorders in the nature which exist.
It's unfortunate people here exist who actually cite their ignorance in a public forum.Science goes on to consolidate that homosexuality is not a lifestyle choice but rather sexual orientation is determined by genetics.To put things into context homosexuality is also found amongst animals too..It's just that most people are pretentious fools with double standards who lack the necessary mental capacity to understand this and make bigoted and ignorant statements . I understand that there shall be a lot of unnecessary abuse and slander for this post but that is to be expected from charlatans who lack the pedigree to put forth a tenable argument...thankee sai

Homosexuality is all in the mind. They need to get their thoughts right and they can live normal lives attracted to the opposite sex instead of the same sex.

well.. good response amrit. but i guess u shud have been a little more polite. an ignorant needs to be educated and not chided. as far as this post is concerned, really touching and very apt representation of a homosexual person in current society. what can one do with something which was given by God not selected by personal choice? homosexuality is not a curse and we Indians needs to be better educated about it to deal with it. To rhyme it properly.. You can be boy You can be girl If nothing works out A homosexual :)
I have no objection to others practicing homosexuality,it is their individual choice.But I feel,it is more of a perversion rather than natural trait in India.Our society tries to suppress sex,there is no freedom in expressing sexuality,thats why some people are getting involved in these things.
Society should be open enough to let people have sex at adult age as per their choice and mutual consent.
If you see a rediff forum you can feel this.Why we see so much hunger for sex? Most young guys are dying for sex.They are unable to divert their energies to more greater things.So,let them release their sexual energies and then let them concentrate in nation building.Or else you will see regular vulgar posts in forums,rape,molestation,and many other crimes...

sex is a natural instinct and its only natural that people need sex atleast as much as they need food and drinks. pursuing greater things by depriving one of the basic necessities is impractical. homosexuals remain homosexuals in spite of steady presence of members of opposite sex in their lives while other belong to different degrees of bisexuality. according to scientific researches homosexuality is not perversion but one of many natural expressions of human desire. no therapeutic conversion is possible since this is not a diesease.
