i think if i am mature enough to decide what is best for my country (18 yrs) i should atleast be able to decide what i want to drink or not. it should be 18 hands down

they meant by going to 25. But one point is, there are some places where it is totally prohibited like gujarat - so they have a age limit of infinity :-)
Just like water and oil, alcohol is a solvent. Some useful nutrients from food dissolve only in alcohol. For that purpose we need to drink a small amount alcohol. Other than that alcohol has no good effect on our body.

Drinking & smoking is alike a giving contribution to Vijay Malya & ITC company.
First of all one should not consume alcohol as it's more destructive than drugs .moreover if at all then the age should be 25 years coz then you have more years to live as alcohol destabilises the whole human system.If possible it should be banned.Alcohol destroys your social life,your health,you suffer financially also as you can't work properly if consumed alcohol and then there is no will to work,love,eat or drink any other health drink.Will is completely lost.So,Ban is the word.

So you are suffering from liver cirrhosis due to excessive drinking, have suffered from chicken flu and have numereous STD? also you bho sda is like tunnel?
One of the names of life is enjoyment.Deviation from this fact has always been harmful. If affordable,there is no harm in drinking alcohol Enjoy it daily after discharging your duties satisfactorily.

as long as you die of cirrhosis of liver privately it is fine. dont become burden to society and family. your notion of life is strange.
