Of course most of them are found in India. Mushrooms, mangoes, sweet potatoes, potatoes, strawberries, cheese, bell peppers, plums, eggs, cauliflower, tomatoes??? You are creating an impression that these are all not found in India??

exactly..they never "write" and article for India. simply copy paste from the western magazines/sites. @World Today: its not abt "finding them in India"..but about which is easily available and cheap in India. For example this whole "olive oil" thing is a bogus stuff. We have enough of other good oils in India
kachi ghani ka til oil [ now easily available in market ] is scientifically proven to be better than extra virgin oil oil.and its cheaper too.even sarson ka teil-kacchi ghani ka teil....is better than extra virgin olive oil.
this is a marketing gimmick for some foreign company.
gujarat and rajasthan are ideal to grow olives so we can actually grow olives in india make extra virgin olive oil at cheaper rates and sell to indians and export also.

Yes, thre has been lot of negative campaigns against coconut oil. but, now it has been scientifically proven that its the best oil for cooking. Another healthy oil, which is used widely in TN is Seasame oil. This olive oil thing is due to the typical Indian craze to follow anything "American"...!!
