What research is being carries out in college ? Publications of college in Journals of International repute having high impact factor, citation index and other modern criteria-as: 1)Annual maintenance of all equipment/ instrument 2)Calibration of all instruments every 6 months Simply teaching/ awarding degrees/placement does not make a Science college great or best Dr. DB Parakh, Principal Scientist (NSTS-1974 Batch).

Absolutely right. There has been no invention in india after that zero.IIS and IIT is a mess serving commercial unlike social problems
I did not understand on what basis rediff is voting as the best science college. What are the criteria that should suggest which is the best or the worst, and who declares it? This casting of vote is also unscientific.
