Attitude is all what matters. Not etiquette
by Gopi on Apr 18, 2011 03:13 PM  | Hide replies

Interview etiquettes have become thing of past. It all depends on attitude, confidence and skill level. Believe me i got selected in top MNC software company even though i wore a T-shirt, bermudas and sandals. I made him my friend within 20mins of interview and i got spot offer. Chillax dudes, It all depends on attitude !! and of course a little luck too.

It seems that you are not Engineer but a IT guy who is a simple programmers doing tricks with compilers. Only know how to talk slang english and built pseudo confidance as if you are only a smart in the world. You can appear for interview with minimum cloths and GF in arm still you will be selected. Because we are copy master of bad things of west. No civilized behaviour needed.

I agree that attitude, confidence, skill are the key and above all being genuine is most important. If you want to be true professional, these etiquette's would matter a lot!!!

chill dude! software copmanies dont need more than bermudiayas & sandaliyas!

here the guy is representing an engineering company and has been into recruiting engineers, who by any parameter just cant enter the interview room wearing chappals or undies!

or r u trying to say that you lose ur attitude wearing formals?

Reason for leaving the present job.
by jitendra khalpada on Apr 18, 2011 02:35 PM  | Hide replies

Almost all interviewer asks this question without fail.

What should be the right & suitable reply for this?

If you gives reason for "Better Growth Prospects" they say then how can we assume you won't look somewhere else after joining us.

If we give reason about the problems in present job they consider it negative statements/disloyalty to the present employer.

What should be the correct reply on this?

If you've stayed in our previous company for at least 2 years, I dont think 'Better Growth Prospects' would matter much!

More apt reply would be " As long as this company will give me opportunity for growth,I will stick to it"

I dont. This comment only creates distrust for your own fellow nationals. I am a north Indian but but have been hired by South Indian Interviewers ( insidently both Tamils). I dont think there is any specific need to hide your state-hood ( unless u r being interviewed by Raj Thakre....or likes)

Its the reponsibility of the interviewer to select the best candidate. The interviewer should make candidates comfortable and try to extract more. Most of the above mentioned points not suitable for technical guys.
