Each and every kid deserves congratulations. These people shoould be encouraged to continue their innovati ve spirit. Those who are lacking faciliites should be provided the required facilities so that they can go a long way in inspiring them. The day i.e. Oct 15th should be named as Dr.Kalam's day Dr.Kalam's Innovation day of the nation as fitting compliment to the lover of Children and thier abilities.
Most of the gadgets are already out in market mostly Made in china. And they are really cheap. I think Chineese belive in action whereas we only in words.

Problem is with awareness. If people are aware that something exists they will try to innovate and take it to the next level. I think the awareness is still low that such devises exist. With adaption of internet this difference will slow down and our kids will catch up

That is the main problem : whenever our Indian talent is trying to invent something, you people comparing hem with the products of China, Japan and their cheapness. We do believe in action more than any cHinese or Japanese, but now I asked have you ever tried to promote them....there are many persons out of you who have links with govt. leaders. Have you ever tried to tell them to do something to have these talents a patent so that they can set up their factory and start something..... No you never do this...you always happy happy to purchase cheap chinese items and more happy that you have saved money...
Let me give you a very interesting example apart from this topic.. We can throw the packet of Chips anywhere on the streets of India and we feel no hesitation in doing so.....and we (the same Indian) cannot even dare to drop a single chip on the streets of any developed country.....Why don't you treat India like you treat USA......

Yes, the Chinese believe in action. They take apart others' products, reverse engineer them and release it as their own product with a few modifications. We don't do that. Yes, the Chinese do believe in action.
congratulations Masha Nazeem. I have seen hydraulic lifts like these being used by the Canadian Railways to raise passengers from low level platforms to the level of the carriages, so that the wheel chairs can be pushed in. The train waits for such passengers to board and take their berths comfortably.

Idea is good and we should see the idea of children all the way and give him all the support.
Every often we hear about great innovative ideas and inventions which are given lots of publicity in the media and soon forgotten.( just like our Scams - no follow up actions are taken) I haven't found any such invention finding its way to market place or being used in our daily lives. Those who hold such competitions should ensure that the invention are mass produced and brought to the market.
Good initiative by the team. But I have to also say that most of these products are already available in foreign countries. But they are not eco-friendly. I hope these young chaps will make it in a eco-friendly and on a affordable rate
Our media should now do some contribution to our society also; Instead of bringing to lime light all these dumb headed politician they should focus on our intellectuals so that the generation can choose their proper ideal; The only example is now Mr. Kalam; How inspiring he is to all the students; We need to bring to focus many more KALAAM of India; In case of KALAAM has he not became a president I doubt he would have such reputation which would have been very unfortunate for the country;
So my request to media please try to give hype to KALAM like people; they are the actual person who deserve this;
they have this much tralent and when they grow up they get strangled in our education system which leaves not much for self learning, independent thinking and research like other countries... its high time we concentrate on those. we dont need to wait till foreign universities open their campuses in india
