BS.. there was no competition then.. many talented ones did not even hear about it..
see the heading these are reserve class student and they qualify with less marks means from 45 to 50% this organisation took poor people of general class then we will see the outcome
shame on india after 60 years independance still reservation corrupt politician and most corroup of indian burecarates who looted india from the last 60 years
I have studied from a vernac school in Mah till 10th and after that I did diploma followed by degree in computer science from a top Institue in Mumbai. After finishing my MBA Finance from Pune, today I'm working at Wall Street and having more than 25 Indian professionals reporting to me. 6 of then are IITians and another 5 have completed their MS from US.
The point I'm tryig to make it,it doesnt matter from what type of background you are from,if you have passion, honesty and intellectual power, you are do any damn thisn in the world.

The real Fact: Is that you are with Lehman/Barclays in Jersey City lording over the hordes of desis since real managers dont want to deal with their day to day shenanigans. These are not "Indian professionals"..they are more like cattle that need a herdsman to prod them, and these herdsman suddenly begin to beleive they are lofty managers due to the quantity of cattle and not the quality..as they themselves were cattle one day.
These claims are doubtful. What are their rankings. As some one was mentioning , the promoters have nexus with a senior IPS officer in the state, so the question paper leak incident can not be ruled out. After all this is news about Bihar. Anything is possible.
children and their stupid parents all getting into this IIT race.
If you make a monkey join coaching classes from 9th and make him study 10 hrs a day then even he can clear JEE.
But is it good for all round development kids. Are they getting enough exercise, social exposure etc. or are they fat/unfit, eye glass wearing social outcasts low on confidence who wont be able to talk properly to the opposite sex all their life just like that looser Chatur in 3 idiots.

There was an article recently, those who get through IITs are not necessarily intelligent students. The format of the test do not test the intelligence of the students.
