manmohan singh autobiography:" life of a glorified slave".. very clear frm the fact except nuclear deal, none of the UPA decisons which proved to be beneficial credited to him despite being PM...credits to him- bringing shame to india in sharm-el-shaikh, bowing and getting insulted from pakistan on indo-pak talks, telengana fiasaco..
We have had peoople such as JN and his lineage as prime ministers. They were lucky to have been born in a family of wealth and had the opportunity to enter political frame early in life. We have also had prime ministers such as LBS and CS who were from very poor background. It is said that LBS used to swim across Ganges every day to his school. Such was the living condition for him. Yet they made a remarkable mark on the canvas of Indian Politics. Dr. MMS stands out in this list, being the first PM with an earned doctorate degree. His achievements are without parallel. What a resume he has! As someone pointed out in these columns, with more and more of such educated persons entering the political field, we may see transparent and honest politics in our lifetime.
I guess probably he's the most hated and ridiculed man for "not fighting wars with neighbouring country" and "not giving firey speeches".... But as we grow as a nation we will realize its the quiet Do'ers who build the nation and not the rhetoric Speaker's...
I'm no Congress/BJP guy....But have tonnes of rot....But the nation sure needs more non-political politicians like MMS and Chidambaram... I hope they pave way for the future of Indian politics where our leaders wont stand for Mandir/Masjid/Caste but for matters like the Nation, Development and Peace...

What about evangelists? Number speak by themselves. Luring poor people to convert to Christianity in exchange for money! Do karma without expecting any return which has been taught for centuries in this Hindu bhoomi. She has none of the qualities.
Everyone respects MMS's intellectual capability. What's the use of all the honours if at the end of the day he follows madam's wishes?
