At least we would know what is demogaphic distribution of India at present. Its really impotant to know percentage distribution f various religons in India.

It is unfair to blame BC. What is their crime? It is time to get rid if The word like cast & religion from the Govt forms.

either remove the system of caste totally from the government books or include it every where.
when caste is applicable to get reservation for studies and jobs then why is it not applicable in census? Let this census be a total analysis of the good the reservation has done to the sc and st who have been enjoying this since independence and to the obc who will enjoy it for years to come.
you cannot give anything without proof freely based on some census based before independence.
it will include the financial data also and tell how backward these so called backward guys are really are.
Remember anything which is for the good of India and its people is a death knell for congress. And see how this data will be used in the hands of these superb innovative people.
