Hi Guys all of your three had done a great Job, It has motivated me too for getting on to Himalyas to enjoy it. Mostly the Ladakh one I would like to explore. Keep it up Guys........
We did a himalayan expedition on bike in sept 09, thou it was late in the season to do so, we successfully completed the tour.
Had to take a detour via pathankot as after reaching rohtang we were stranded due to heavy snowfall, the road and passes ahead were blocked. We just managed to sneak back to manali and reached srinagar and kargil clockwise.
But it was a hell of a trip, should be done atleast once in a life time.
Your narration reminds me of our days there in the same places, TangLangLa, KardungLa, Pangong Tso Lake, Nubra vally and Leh. Kindly post some pics if you have.

Next time...spend the fortnight in Leh...Trek up to the lake ..... go for two days of rafting in Zanskar..... then you can get a slight feeeeel of the Mighty Himalayas !!!!
