That is because we, the middle class Indians have got this fixation in our head that Education is a passport to Financial Security via a job! Hence the pressure to make one's kids Doctors, Engineers or MBAs or Chartered Acountants! Our Education system also places too much emphasis on learning by rote and judges students on the basis of marks! No wonder Arts, Sports, Pure Science, etc are losing out!
We perents are responsible for bothering our children on education and qualifications, due to giving example of other students and freinds sons and daughters,teeling them how much they study, we should allow them to study in area and subjects which they are fond off, so that they with their liking will master up and make their carriers in respective feilds. you cannot expect everybody becoming engineer or doctor or bisuness manager.we should guide them to achive the best and top in the feild and area they like more. today in every subject their are carreir opprtunities
this is the result of stuind competition. when the children are supposed to enjoy life we are burdening them with study, study and study with 9 subjects and 36, 200 pages notebook, can we expect this much at this age. Intelligent people who have prepared curriculum, must think on that. How can you expect a student of 3rd standard to know what is meant by tsumani, spelling of distinguish, construction, lopsided, sitting bestride etc. why to burden them. neither the parents nor their teachers are bothered about it. Life is not just study but enjoyment also.

PARENTS ARE FIRST SCHOOL FOR CHILD.....THEY NOW A DAYS HAVE ALL MONEY FOR THEIR CHILDREN BUT NOT TIME....THEY DONOT WANT TO SET THEMSELVES AS EXAMPLE.....NOW A DAYS WE R READY TO TEACH OUR CHILDREN DANCE,MUSIC,HARRY POTTER...WANT THEM TO BE TECHNO SEVY....BUT DONOT WANT TO TEACH THEM REALITY OF LIFE,HARD FACTS OF LIFE,RIGHT VALUES,FIGHTING SPRIT...DONOT WANT TO FEEL THE PULSE OF LOWEST STRATA,CULTURE OF OUR COUNTRY.....WANT TO PUT UNNESSARY BURDEN,MUGGING UP IS NOW A DEF. OF KNOWLEGE......THEY MAY DONOT KNOW FROM WHERE WHEATE COMES THEY SHOULD KNOW JAVA.....MODERNITY MEANS NUDITY NOT MODERN THINKING......THAN WE BLAME CHILDRENS FOR SUCIDE......
