Plus, NO ENCASHMENT OF LEAVE.All must work on rotation, which helps every one to enjoy their holidays as they wish without affecting public service.Overtime should never be encouraged. Each one should complete their daily work 100% as if they are retiring the next day!. There are so many private sector staff work as I have mentioned. Productivity is far too low in Govt sector / Offices.Too many holidays and too much of freedom screwing the country.

Max of Rs. 15,000 including medical bills will be exempt.

If you had taken medical insurance for your mother, an additional Rs. 10,000 would be exempt, but the insurer would pay the 90k bill.

Some false assumptions
by Amit Shah on Feb 03, 2010 10:23 AM

To save taxes there is a assumption that the person spends 48000 on LTA which can be claimed only twice in 4 years and plus he has to spend to claim tax deductions. Another one is 1 lakh under 80C. If the person is salaried and is earning close to 13L annually, half of his 80C deduction gets coverd by the PF part of it. So net net he can save another 50K only.
