To save taxes there is a assumption that the person spends 48000 on LTA which can be claimed only twice in 4 years and plus he has to spend to claim tax deductions. Another one is 1 lakh under 80C. If the person is salaried and is earning close to 13L annually, half of his 80C deduction gets coverd by the PF part of it. So net net he can save another 50K only.
