I used top end Mac desktop recently at airport (lounge) been a window user for many years, the safari browser was not on dock believe me it took me 10 min to find it in top menu. MAC OS X is utter crap as per me cannot even play games, windows betters the MAC OS X everytime with easier to use interface, i hated it to the core. It was so confusing to move between windows and move back to desktop, OS should have least learning curve and MS proves it everytime, it gets hacked more cuz of more users and can work on any hardware not specific like mac. iPad makes it Worse wait for HP slate coming with windows 7 :D

As an e-reader, more capable than Kindle. Most newspapers in North America and Europe will be switching to digital format and paid subscriptions in the coming decade.

Yes..lets go blind using such crap devices that do nothing but entice us to use more..
nothing can replace the normal books we use..

gone are the days when we played in open grounds and smelt fresh air....people have lost their stamina and brains by becoming couch potatoes or using such devices.. Future looks bleak for Gen NEXT

well SAID..... youngsters should be encouraged to go out and play in the open, smell the air, the trees, listen to the birds and stray cats and dogs , jump and dance and run around like how we used to 20 years ago....

This whole bull of gaming where every kid is playing with Wi, Nintendo and other bs products missing their childhood

MNS should ban such products in mumbai lol

Hype
by SV on Feb 02, 2010 01:33 PM

Apple products are mostly hype...In India especially, their products have not fared well...
They feature high on 'cool' index rather than on features...iphone with such a high price does not have message forward and bluetooth like features which are now available in sub 5k phones these days...For that price, there are plenty of better options available from Nokia, Samsung, LG, Sony and Blackberry.

iPad too, suffers from same syndrome....a lot less features...I don't understand why people cant hold a book instead of iPad...because,
iPad, without a camera, multitasking capability, physical keyboard and USB slot is just an ebook reader and handheld gaming device...true i can watch images and videos, but I don't wish to pay such high price for that...I would any day prefer a netbook for doing all the things I can do with a iPad...

on top of that, so called marketing strategy of the iTunes software, file format...and their iTunes store...

At max, I could ask myself to buy an iPod, just for the sheer quality of sound and earphones...Rest all Apple products are a big no for me... I can spend my hard earned money on better products...I just don't want to get into the 'cool' brigade for the heck of it..
