I am surprised to see the contrast reaction from Indians. Even itz not our culture to involve in such prior relations. Two wrongs dont make a right. I fully agree with the Author and believe in the genuiness of the article and study.

now a days girls are so demanding.. they want to have sex on the back side of BMW ... silly!
ha ha. In our community we get married by age of 22 and we get 5 more years to enjoy sex then others who marry late till 27. I think the only good thing our parents did ever was to get us married by 22. We are having a happy life. Stupid article
We dont want AIDS to spread. We dont want tonns of children. our buses and train are already full. where would u carry them. Use plastic ie condome. also anybody in your colony if has more than 1 child, go to him and talk to them. ask them not to go for 2nd or 3 rd child. in friendly manners of course. but we need to be proactive instead of blaming govt all the time.

use biodegradble plastic, otherwise flooding may happen with clogged drains as was the case during Common wealth games
Re: west is always reinventing the indian wheel ...
by Uday Wali on Dec 25, 2010 01:32 PM
Indians will always find why their ancestral knowledge already encompasses what is newly discovered. They couldnt understand that any earlier! Please understand that even if it is a reinvention, there is a different aspect to it than what was known earlier. If the wheel was not reinvented, we would have logs of wood for cars!!!
I have read a report, which claims India has the worst record globally regarding social disability. It shows how ignorant Indian people are towards people who suffer from Autism-related conditions. I can't get married because my disability is an issue to someone else. That's not my fault. It also shows Indians have become inhumane towards the disabled. So think twice and ask yourself is India's culture the best. Is India's culture acceptable towards socially disabled people? It's not and never will be. Indian's are well known for humiliating, prejudicing and using violence towards people with social disabilities.

You are right, there are many things not to be proud of in our culture.

Virendra! the pain expressed by you really requires attention. want to know from you if you have concerns marrying a girl who is in similar conditions. On one part you may see the culture to be inhumane towards ppl like you, at the sametime the culture asks not to loose hope. Even in today's internet age, where ppl claim the world to be a global village, if one cannot find a partner, really the tall men of our culture needs to again focus on the fundamentals.
