If you don't know the scriptures, don't comment. Infact, Saraswati is the wife of Bramha and not his daughter.

Can you explain in which way.
If yo are talking about wearing jeans then you are wrong.
Jeans should be banned for both teachers and students it is not a uniform nor it is fashion wear.
IT IS WORK WEAR.

Is this workable
by Priyanka jain on Dec 11, 2010 08:16 AM  | Hide replies

Jeans for women is comfortable easy to wear, walk, run.In winters its durable and doesnt need washing more and its warmer.
Freedom to wear which is comfortable and good than to be distinguish. if student wear sarees then the objective is nullified. It is to single out jeans from teachers as old teachers dont like jeans for the young counterpart.
A girls college. How can jeans be vul.. as parents allow their daughter to wear jeans means they encourage vul..

Problem is the particular occupation:
Teachers have to face adolescent boys, who are coping with unexpected biological changes, unreliable information about what is normal, what is natural, what is good, what is bad, what is tolerable, what is beyond limits.
Of course teen aged boys will talk and think all kinds of things even if the teacher is dressed respectably.
However, if the school/college makes a regulation of traditional and accepted clothing, for BOTH lady and gent teachers, i see nothing fundamentalist here.
This is a good thing.

A little indirect austerity when studying is not bad.

When you go to a bank or office, you dont sit watching the receptionist's clothes, do you?

you mind your business.

Students' business is to study.
If a little austerity is applied during study hours, I see nothing wrong.

After school/college, students can log on to the internet or the park and satisfy all your visual urges.

Why do we accept dress codes in companies?
We should ban those also, but do we?

Jeans are Vulgar but are not classed as School wear or fashion wear.
Schools Collages have a dress code and Jeans do not fall in that category.
Not even in so libral UK and Europe.
It s classed as work wear and yes it was created as work wear for Farmers and horse riders.
want wear trousers then there are better cloth and trousers which look good on any girls young or old.
But not Jeans.
Yes I wear jeans but only when working otherwise NO.

what suits and not is always a question
by Sajee KumarCG on Dec 11, 2010 08:00 AM  | Hide replies

It is jeans that suits a girl for that gives them better way to move than sari. It is more comfortable and gives a better mental touch. But how it is presented on the body makes one of the most important difference. Secondly, such dresses are not always suitable for all occassions. Therefore, alternatives are here.Sari is generally comfortable for all types of ladies and occassions but not all climatic conditions. Let both jeans and sarees have its own immportance but saree is the best for a teaching profession for it gives the decent look if properly covered otherwise salwar looks better because it is as perfectly ok by many ways. What matters in colleges is what they give to the students in the form of knowledge and discipline. Let discipline prevail over exhibition by them.

vasu...i don't find any reason to admire software people bcoz of their high salaries...it was only due to these companies had western clients and USD/INR exchange rate played a vital role those days...ask today and very few people (talented) will prefer to join a software company unless he really gets a job satisfaction...its just a matter of time when Chinese and Philipnos shall takeover most of the outsourcing jobs away from India...unless there's a hard core R & D in Indian software industry, this won't survive...fortunately this has now started to improve...
