Sir,i am LIC agent and am not eligble for deduction of tax,as my commission is not above one lac annuly,let me know what form i may fill on line for the deduction of my tax
Viewing tax refunds tells me to say, contact your tax inspetor. refunds not paid for years 1.2007/08. 2 .2009/10 3. 2010/11 .The tax inspector never replies. What is the remedy? HBS.Rana
This I.T. Department officials are very much interested in getting PROMOTION, GOOD SALARY & BRIBE. That is the reason they are giving good software facilities to GET the Income Tax. They don bother about the REFUND. When ther are dedicated to provide good servics to the PUBLIC. They should honour the " RIGHTS & LIABILITIES ". That means they have to take care in the same of for REFUND OF TAXES.
Form 26AS introduced by the Income Tax department is, in principle, a very effective system which helps an Assessee to check his/her tax credits.
However, the drawback of this system is that an Assessee can only view the 'Status of Tax Refund' and has no means to inform the Income Tax Department online that refund has not been received.
The true efficacy of the facility would be realized if an Assessee can, at the click of a button, inform the authorities that refund has not been received. A response from the Income Tax authorities taking note of the information and a further response in the form of information on the approximate date by which the Assessee can expect to receive his/her refund, would truly enhance its effectiveness and credibility and raise customer satisfaction.
