In democracy you have the right to disagree. But disagree on what TCS or Infy part?

Sorry for not being clear. I disagree on the word 'Getting in TCS is really Tough'

Getting into TCS is tough? I dont know about fresh engineering grads but I was offered twice by TCS and had to reject because of their low salary offer. They did not have any writyen test and just one round of interview (I am an experienced professional) followed by HR round. I did not preceive it as difficult if you know your stuff.

Infy is struggling to cope up with increasing attrition of DISILLUSIONED employees, hence this publication is managed / sponsored one to attract the people.

And now those employees are going to be more disillusioned as Infosys, Wipro and TCS will need to cut salaries further to cope with the massive increase in H1 visa fees imposed by the US senate !
Earlier, it was to solve some stupid Shankutala Devi puzzles and u r in infosys...
I am not sure how it is now. I had seen some deserving candidates rejected by infosys as well.
60% marks consistency requirement does also filter many deserving candidates as well. On the whole, i had seen Infy recruitment procedure is more suited for book worms than others with real exposure and practical knowledge

Well said. I recommend Infosys management to watch "Taare Zamin par" and "Three Idiots". There is a lot more to IT than to make profits year-after-year.

This is another Infy sponsored report at Rediff. Look like Rediff is on the payroll of Infosys.
Yes getting into TCS is really tough but not as tought as getting in Harvard.
I was rejected by the same HR shown above. She seemed to be cool and had always a nice smile during whole interview, but only God knew that she was bluffing with me. :(

i had interviwed by HR in Infosys, during interview, i have notice that lots of Experience people come their but only freshers get selected. if they dont want to selcet the experience people why they called up them, one person was being their from dubai just becouse he want to settled back in india, such and more thing was happeing in pune. is they think experiance people can do the thing which fresher can do.............
Infosys is a good organisation but that does not mean it is the only good company. There are N number of companies in India who follow good practices. This Infosys hype should be stopped. Good lUck

Its not a Hype..I was an infoscion once and today i still feel that infosys is way ahead of its competitor's in every factor...
But as you had pointed out..Infosys is not the only company to work for...Need to appreciate quality wherever it is!!!
