today september 3rd 2011... i recevied my first salary... september 3rd 2007 was the first day of mine in the engineering college... WAT A COINCIDENCE IN THS DATE IN MY LIFE!!! This date september 3rd begins new dreams in me. In 2007 a dream to score more marks... In 2011 a dream to earn more money...
I was in College, Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad, in 1986. I received Rs. 500 as support from parents and that did not complete my monthly requirements. So, I took up part time work at the turf club serving the members during lunch. The first Saturday I worked as a waiter, I received this wonderful Rs. 100 note. I cherish it till today. I am the Head of Operations of a Mall Management Company now in Mumbai.

I was earning 7k p.m. in 2002 and now earn 2lakhs p.m. but still find it too less to live a decent life. Luckily I invested all my money in the stock market for first 4 years and I'm able to buy a house with that. Funny thing is I do the exact same work I used to do 8 years ago and get paid many times that amount.
Before I got my results of diploma in civil engineering, I joined in an architectural company in 1990 for Rs.600/month in a piling fdn job, later jumped to 4000 in Tata projects in 1995 and Rs.9lakhs/month was my peak in SHELL OIL in saudi arabia in 2007 and now Rs.3lakhs/month in Harouge Oil,Libya.I sticked to construction field, never chenaged it.First salary went to village godess Paidimamba in Vizag.

priya, even if you add another 0 to your present sal, it wouldnt make a difference. along with your sal your needs (luxaries?) go up. trust me what ever ur making is always enough. just live happily.
