What A show Off ... I mean God still makes people who still does not the meaning of being HUMBLE...
Pity..Anyways...If its true ...Do some charity to those who deserve better and try to accept that you are earning this amount...cos ur post says lots of things that you will never understand...
My first salary was 5000Rs. I still have the 500 Rs note from my first salary and plan to keep it all life. I brought watch for my elder brother, and dresses for my parents and took them out for dinner from my first salary. I even brought play toys for my pets.
I think most important thing to measure for success is
1) how much happiness you had in life rather than money. A 10Rs Cadbury used to fill me with joy in school and college which i now cannot get by eating Mars, Herseys etc or even dining in 5 star 2) How many compromises you did professionally and personally to reach a big position. If you feel guilty and cannot get proper sleep in night because of the guilt its not worth even if you become SRK or PM of any country 3) Nothing is bigger than self respect. I know many of my friends who have been abused by their bosses or seniors sometimes in front of others for no fault but never gave back. They have totally lost confidence and need constant self assuarnce that they are good.
In India the biggest problem is the Senior or Boss. If you do not adhere to their whims and fancy you are assured of demotions, no salary rise and may be even loose job. And even if you are clever than your boss or know more should act as if you know less especially in front of others. Foreign born bosses have less of these ego issues.
I can go on on these issues but it may take a big book to write what i observed in 5 years of my experience.
