When the liquor shops or the bars open.. invariably u will find the arabs entering first with their dogs...anything that has a whole will do for them...
If one cannot drink in the confines of his own comfortable home, within reasonable limits, what's the point in going all the way to a licensed place to drink? Going to a place to drink obviously means that youll have to drive to that place and your caught in an irony of you cannot drink contendedly because damn it, your driving.It's much safer to not drive and drink at home.So even if you unintentionally exceed the limits you are far safer from causing a nuisance on the streets. I dont see the logic behind some of this stupid Arabic country rules. My best tip would be to avoid visiting Dubai.Your not missing anything anway. The place has no historical or cultural significance of merit.

Dude I hv been to Dubai and I did nt like much. It is only oil money these gulf countries have. Only money does not make them attractive. India has got more money than these countries put together.

lahuminge, is Dubai yourGrandpa's property? Those who visit Dubai are going there with necessary travel documents issued by their govt. You are no one to ask any to go or not go to any place.

I got a resident visa, when I feel like taking a dump in dxb i fly business class, take a dump and then come back after i've drunk, boozed and molested the chicks with the sheikhs
