Am sure as this initiative takes on, Corporates who normally have some kind of social segments will appreciate to have these elderlies use their expertise & let them have some thing to do. But as Mr.Tamil says it shouldn't become some thing else than what it's really intended for.
Good to show opps for people who already finsihed the race to get them engaged with some work. But note most Indian employers never know the word work life balance but they well know the word value for money. So please categories where the seniors can fit in, a job which gives them fun before grave not sleepless nights(TVS,L&T..).Except social work .. NGO ...lecturing ..i dont think they can enjoy other areas.. if they enjoy sure a problem for the youngsters as generation cant match...

"Television viewing habits".... I dont think disciplined elders wud get addicted to TV sets at any age... they do something they love .. volunteer something..always they make them enagged... TV watchers are mostly ppl who love to rest & advice even in their younger age(most govt staffs)...also most elderly ppl who say they need to work for money is not true.. indians have the habit of saving money for 10 generations...sure these sections will looks at the currency even they are placed inside the coffin..
Nice that the elderly are getting another chance to do something worthwhile. But please spare a thought for the millions of the unemployed young people. Please do not block their opportunities.
