by ASHWANI BHAN on Sep 08, 2009 09:33 AM

True meaning of Education is holistic development of mind, spirit and body.Unless education imbibes every individual with moral & ethical values the true meaning of education is distoted.Modern Education should focus not only on the imparting of skills needed for making a living but on the imbibing of moral, ethical and spiritual values.

Health Is Wealth
by Mind Clear on Sep 08, 2009 02:58 AM

Education, Economics and Employment need strong, practical connection with Human and Environmental Health and Well-Being to make it meaningful, life-affirming and worth pursuing. Then we can strive to achieve the real meaning of life and success as stated by Buudha, "Health is the greatest gift, Contentment the greatest wealth, Faithfulness the best relationship". Otherwise endless corruption, manipulation, false ego, lies, show-offs will continue forever.

Training, workshops are more important for indian.
by manoj sharma on Sep 08, 2009 02:48 AM

Education in class is useless. On the job training what krishan give to Arjuna. Thats what most important. All company and govt employer should be forced to provide ongoing trtaiing on attitude, empathy, communication etc. Only job skills means they are selfish, using person as machine to get job done. India is land of dharma. And training on self aweness is life long matter. u cant change immediately. It takes lot of sadhana and hard work on our inner nature. This is very core of all relegions. Yet we dont train people. Thats why we have so much violance and wild crowd on the street. And we all have to live whole day like in a jungle.

Mirraj, Sanngli, Kollhapur Ryyots as Ganesh idols dessecrated - KangressMedia blackout

Sorry for this post, but I dont know how to make media spread word about this neutrally.

A large group of people mad due to a depiction of Shivaji defeating Afzal Kkhan attacked & desecrated Ganesh idols after which riots broke out in Mirraj, Sanngli & Kollhapur on 5 Sept.

There is curfew in those places. Yet not one major newspaper OR channel OR website is talking about it.
A 50 yr old Maths professor in Mirraj local college died due2 lathi-charge by police. Unequal brutal ways due2 Kangress

What is the reason of this blackout by our media ?
Search for 'Miraj Dangal 1' and 'Miraj dangal 2' on youtube to see the disturbing footage showing the SP allowing huge Pak flags to be hoisted on police jeep. He then begs them with folded hands to atleast stop now, even though police are present in huge numbers. The protesting mob then suddenly goes wild & attacks the Ganesh pandal, desecrating the idols. Police then beatup the Ganesh pandal volunteers & forcefully take the broken idol for Visarjan. This is what happens when appeasement becomes official government policy.

Whats more, Kanngressi supporters have marked these videos as adult on youtube, so you cant watch them without logging in. If you dont have a login, go here: is . gd /30k2E
to see 2 of the 11 videos
You cant just blackout something bcoz Kangress doesnt want

Easy education = poor education
by abcd efg on Sep 07, 2009 08:32 PM

In order to improve statistics and generate business volumes, the quality of education is compromised. Education can never be easy, the tougher it is, the better lessons it teaches.
Today's teachers are not teachers, they are like salesperson and our students are converted to consumers. Whatever long strides a nation makes, will be destroyed if its education is crippled. Additionally, moral education and behaviour should be made compulsory in curriculum instead of dishing out useless degrees.

As long as education is not imparted in local language
by satyarthi on Sep 07, 2009 08:12 PM

We should not expect high variety yeild from it.
Even spending years, it is difficult to gain mastery over foreign language.
This blunts one's capacity to think originally and express it clearly.

increase the level of teaching
by ramamurthy sridhar on Sep 07, 2009 02:56 PM

in india most of the schools are demanding more money for education and it has become one sort of business. Taking exorbitant money from the children without giving proper teaching to the children. At the outset, most of the schools are not having educated teachers who can give insight to the students. We really need some good educated teachers to enable the children to develop their skill and gain knowledge. Most of the schools are not paying good salry to the one or two good teachers and ultimately they have to look for a change in the short period leaving the students just like that.

Second & Third languages should be revisited for relevance
by Guest on Sep 07, 2009 02:32 PM  | Hide replies

Languages in our education system, esply in the primary and secondary levels should be there primarily to inculcate an interest in languages. On the contrary, the way it is today, with a curriculum that befits Pundits than children, & children shying away from the dread of serious grammar and prose, rather than the fun that can be derived from communicating in other languages, there will be no scope for lingustic interest being nurtured constructively. Languages should be part of the system to enable basic communication. If there is academic interest to pursue it further, the curriculum should allow for that too, but as an option to the basics.

Yes instead of BELIEF inculcate DOUBT
by ss sk on Sep 07, 2009 01:14 PM

Till date we have taught to belief and corrupted the minds at the very begining. Now its time to educate children to Doubt and let them know according to their own analysis and experience. This will be the first step towards the NEW HUMANITY.
