Divorces, Abortions, Orphanages, Criminal cases etc., are already happening in India, and have happened in the time long before that too. The difference is now you get to read it.

Yes. True we are reading. But compare the statistics year wise or decade wise.
Do you think such crippled Indians of the future, set right things for themselves and their future ???
We should be reading more and more and solving more if we can .
Looks well written but what are the people crying about is what i fail to understand. I would love to read this book. The way he has expressed himself, one is taken to the days of school and the earliest of memories of liking someone.
This reminds me of a famous marathi novel written couple of decades ago known as "Duniyadari". It reflects slightly different era; but with similar theme.
where u think the misuse of the above started whole scale and is an acepted fact now.look at the recent west celebrities who have died and find out the cause.it was the above.kindlystop denigrading india because some character sees nothing else but the above while writing about india.it is the indians who are aping the west who are in this problem but the mass of indians still follow our traditional culture.

What aping west. Indians like sex, that is why we have more than a billion people. We have written Kamasutra and built Khujraho. I think west is following us.

Bedi babu; You like to lick boots of foreigners hindi medium type for you means "those people who carry arms"!!!! kamsutra and kahjuraho is just an example that people were free to openly express their views in ancient india, and it has nothing to do with mass population of india.
very well written piece of work....oh and btw I find ppl here commenting on how the west digs the fact that we are rotten, poor, miserable country....there are no two ways about it...we are all that and more...let us stop thinking of ourselves as a powerhouse and look at reality in the eye...how many of us have not rolled up our windows when there are lepers begging on the traffic signal...do we even care to see how ppl live in the slums...even if we are accidentally passing by we just want to get out of the place and when we get home we just want to forget what we have seen and pretend that it doesnt exist...its high time we acknowledge that this is the reality for a majority of indians and unless something is done for them there will more chaos...more destruction...

i dont understand what you are getting at...how is celebrities dying the US got anything to do with what i have stated???
So, let it be like that only. Why do we cry foul when ppl paint India in dark colour. This dark shade has been created by people like us only. If we are so ashamed of what world is thinking about us, let's come forward nad initiate the change. If we want a change of shade, we have to change ...
This is a perfect factual story normally seen in U.P. and Bihar. Very well written. It should open the eyes of the people in U.P. and Bihar and not allow other States to emulate these two notorious states.
