2 Best inventions of Mankind
by Arun Sambandan on Nov 18, 2009 09:57 PM

I used to tell people that Aircraft Engine and Alcoholic beverages are the best 2 inventions of mankind. Is it Pratt & Whitney who makes Boeing and Airbus Engines? Both of the above two inventions will make you be among the clouds and closer to heaven...

older people

i've experienced that generally older people; especially the ones in their 50s and 60s, are the most annoying. They think that they own the whole plane and the crew just because they've purchased a coach ticket. I really pity this mentality as they're the ones who make Indians look bad in front of the international crowd.

Please respect elders. Is it too much for elders to ask some respect?

If you think they're doing something wrong, just keep it to yourself.

Reclined Seat
by Siddhartha Sanghi on Nov 18, 2009 07:16 AM

I've been a frequent flier from Chicago to New Delhi. About two years ago when I was flying to India, a lady who was sitting in front seat to me reclined it completely backwards as soon as the plane took off from Chicago. Although the stewardess requested her around five times to move it back upwards, she was apathetic. This caused me immense discomfort even to eat my meals. It's really hard to explain that torture that lasted for about sixteen straight hours.

Indians are bad travellers

can indians stop making the airport as ST bus stand and not make a queue. Also, some courtesy towards elder passengers and ladies with kids/babies?
