Stalking and eve teasing produces the same mental trauma on the victim and almost all stalkers enjoy seeing their victim traumatised.
The first step is to get rid of the feeling that you are a victim. Second, boost your confidence. One must internally believe that no one has the right to make you feel this way and no has the right to trample upon your privacy and above all, one must strongly believe that you will, by no means allow yourself to go through it silently.
Once you have that kinda confidence...confront the stalker. Politely, but very firmly and angrily say "NO". Don't insult the person (coz you may never know what he might do...like hurt you or anything)...but be mentally strong in dealing with him. Your body language should tell him that you are not willing to tolerate him....that can come only if you boost your own confidence.

all this is happening due to the wrong teachings by the immoral films that a woman is an object of desire. now tv has also joined that bandwagon.
the foreign forces & politicians of this nation want every person to become characterless, corrupt & unethical so that we lose our right to question their corruption & immoral & unethical acts.

ctors who have achieved nothing in their life tell us to tease girls, go after girls as if women is only thing in a man's life.
they themselves live Ppromiscuous & Aadulterous life & teach us to do the same.
Well everyone keeps presuming that Men are the only stalkers and the only victim are women. I disagree. Back in my college days I had a scary time with a female stalker. She was a junior in college. She always stalks me. Gives me blank calls to my land line every day.
When ever I was playing a cricket match she sits all alone in a corner the whole day and keeps starring at me. I always used to find her walk past my home. Even on week days when I go out with my friends she follows me on her two wheeler. She once had a cat fight in college with a girl who was very friendly with me. She even stalks at me at night too. I once caught her going through my home mail box & the moment she saw me she ran away.
Once when I was walkin all alone & she was in front of me...she said she cant live without me & I should agree to meet her alone. I said...Im not interested. She said If I dont agree she will scream & tell everyone that I was trying to molest her. I got scared & said ok and ran away. I complained to the Principal...every one took it as a joke and never understood the seriousness...
I could not sleep properly. She called me in the phone and said that If I dont turn up tomorrow she will kill her self in front of me. Next day I was wondering...
TO GO or NOT TO GO...
I did not meet her...
Next day morning I wondered if I would find her dead body at home....I was wrong.
I then didnt leave my home for days...I was smart...I married the stalker...by the way shez very s.e.x.y too.

How come this be called stalking? The poor guy never bothered this girl again once she gave the guy a piece of her mind. As many others have pointed out this is just a case of a love sick teenager trying to get a chance to speak to his crush. In sick Indian society where mingling of sexes is frowned upon these kinds of cases are very common.

Oh really!! Tell us how it feels when u r 15years old and the same thing happens 2 u!! I bet it will look different then!!
Also the parents should talk to the boy and his family. If it doesnt go well, then police is the only option.Because its not always good to blame the boys.

here is your chance buddy! They are asking for experiences and they did not limit it to women... Why don't you tell them your experience or whoever else's?
Most times stalkers to so, because they thing the person stalked would like their activity (erotomania), while in fact the victim would be cringing.
This 'cringing' on the part of victim in fact encourages stalking. Again our cinema and novels encourage and create an image that stalking is the first step to love. (I have seldom seen such presentation of love effort in any foreign novels or cinemas).
Stalkers as well might be pshycotic stalkers who might be in need of 'treatment'.
As far non-psychotic stalkers there might as well be other reasons for them to do so.
Either way, the best way to face a stalker is to tell him as soft and as candid as possible that you don't like it. This way one would save oneself from the 'mental agony' caused by strangers.
whats the big fuss. at that age the guys too are not very smart. hormones kick in, they love and there is nothing wrong with it. just that some are too shy to come forward and talk. initially girls love the attention and then call it stalking. a simple early communication is all thats required and the chapter is closed more often than not.

wow!! girls sure must be attention starved to "initially love the attention" of roadside romeos. Not everybody understands "simple early communication". Besides any sort of communication in such a case may be difficult for a terrified 15 year old girl.

In the given case, you are probably correct. This guy Rajesh was a love sick puppy from a decent family. Attracted to a girl he did not know, but unable to express his love due to lack of social grace. (typical of indian society where many guys are not encouraged to mix with the opposite sex and have no idea how to interact with them). He followed her etc desperate for that one chance to speak to her. When he got that chance - she blasted him. He got the message, and with a broken heart and ego, he walked away and never bothered her again. That was that.
This was an innocent episode with no major consequences, but some episodes can get very dark and dangerous. I had a friend named Raj who loved this girl called Kkiran, and she married this guy called sunny, but Raj continued to stalk her, even on their honeymoon in Europe, oh sorry that was just a bad hindi movie
