The data doesn't appear scientific. difficult delivery in case of male foetus doesn't convey anything. May be the size of male baby may be of concern. As far as disease state is concerned I find both male and female prone to diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, breast cancer in females and prostrate in males. One scientific fact is that the biological processes in females are more complex viz., menstruation, pregnancy so they are vulnerable to certain diseases. On other hand the social demand and the exposure of males to extreme conditions results in male diseases. Still the difference in the life expectancy is the results of life style that the genders have. According to me more fruitful would to target individual diseases rather than intended misinterpretation or meaningless comparison. Rediff should be ashamed for making such unscientific statements
There is no need of any research to prove that men are weaker sex.Look at every family - father would be dying at 60's and mother at 70's.Men have all kind of health disorders like BP,Pressure,Heart attack,etc in addition to accidents.Because of tension in workplace and financial problems,most men would be addicted to some bad habits.The tragedy is they can't even cry ! They become the victims in their own world.All laws are aganist them.They are programmed as the bed winners.No orgnisation to save them
Hhhahahaa! Rediff when u will grow up? You are still in kindergarten!!!! Hahahahahaha Initially I thought that overall men are weaker sex compared to women. But it is not like that. Infact they should hv mentioned Men are weaker sex while birth or Men are more/easily allergic to infections compared to female in most of the cases. Unless someone is not going to read entire article, one cannot conclude anything, and Rediff has confused everyone. I pity on u Rediff. I hope some morons will not start fighting over here who is strong as men and women are equal morphs of GOD and both of them are equal in all aspects.
I could not stop my laugh as I've seen some people have taken this topic from nowhere to somewhere and have started to fight foolishly. Request to all plz read the entire article carefully and then provide ur views.

Hard to digest? But it is a fact. For your information no research ever has been useless. It seems highly probable that you have little education in science.
The chances of world ratio for men and women (if there is no female infanticide) would be 1:4.
For this as one of the reasons, Islams permits one man to marry 4 women. so that no woman remains unmarried and get into extra marital sex or illegitamate sex.
