Some points not agreeable
by pankaj shirke on Jun 15, 2009 04:56 PM  | Hide replies

Three things are not possible in outsourced world
Some definitions are also likely to change as follows
1)Work Life Balance:We Indians work hard and balance the life of people from Europe and America by making things easier. So "To Work is an Indian and Balanced life is for people from West"
2)Not Jumping too fast:What happens nowadays.A 2 year experienced person and 5 years exp person do the same work. There is no difference. All jobs are becoming routine mechanical jobs.
Why should one waste their talent and try where there is an opportunity.Because as a employee, one cant predict how long will the job remain. If company can fire employee for their benefit so the employee also has full right to change company for their benefit.
3)Regarding layoffs,If the company has recruited surplus employees,it is their problem in management. The Top management hasnt felt the pinch of this yet inspite of wrong decissions.
One very funny story on layoff
A landlord has a storeroom. To keep his belongings,he installs a safe.So he keeps a watchman. Also to keep ledger he appoints acountants. To check whether they all work,he appoint supervisers. To check all the processes are followed he appoints auditors. To define a company policy he forms board members. These board members suggests cost cutting after a year to the landlord. They analyse that we are spending more on a watchman. So they decide to layoff that poor guy.
In short the layoff story in corporate world is somewhat like this.

The real world around us will help us as a relation in one or other form. Show peace love to these peoples, who helped us to become a top gearing person in the society.
Their was one phrase," Women build the men in all respects and Men shows respect to women for all aspects".
