99% will say this and that, actually a few exception, most marry for money only - what is dowry , she has to work , so automatically good amountof money every month you are getting. she has to work in home, and outside and that is a different type of dowry ,
anyhow the outcome of marriage depends on the nature of the girl. it doesn't depend on whether or not you take dowry. if the girl is good she won't deal you badly bcoz you took dowry from her parents and if the girl is bad she will definitely deal you badly even if you don't take a single money from her family.
I completely agree with Jitendra Upadhaya. Its absolutely wromg to say that girls only marry boys only for financial security. Its obvious that if I have a sister for whom my parents & myseld will look for boy who is finanicially stable & also too sholud have a moderate though not very high class family backup(living standard). Why shall someone compromise on this? Even for boys thay have also their interest. Many look for both the beauty of a girl & her family's background(financial economical). its very rare to see someone getting married only for love without thinking about anything else. It applies for both boys & girls.

if u know the story of Salim and Anarkali then u wud know that ...Salim fought with his father (great mughal emperor) in battlefield for Anarkali. But Anarkali ...was ready to give up their affair. she didnt die for love ...she left that place and moved..and eventually married a powerful Mughal officer. thats the Factual History..!!
See some ppl are clear about the fact that they want money in the pockets of the Groom. However, some are of the sorts who claim to be in LOVE wen they see the guy has money... and wen the money goes Loves vanishes faster!! The second type are the BITCHs that need to be killed!! First type is the ones that need to be avoided!!
