marriage for money huh....
by Amey Parmarthi on Jun 01, 2009 08:05 PM

hey guys frankly speaking I feel that today everything is commercialized. In todays world your societal status, reputation and happiness depends on money. Nobody can deny it. So whats wrong if somebody poor with a good personality and sense of humour; attracts a richer guy or girl and gets married to improve his/her standard of living? After all once you have enough money to feed you; you can bring all sort of comforts and can have mental relief to make your marriage work. Love and commitment will come along as time goes by. Think about it. Its purely practical and realistic.

MOST WOMEN MARRY RICHER MEN!
by Parthasarathy on Jun 01, 2009 07:55 PM

MEN MARRY FOR SEX AND WOMEN MARRY FOR MONEY.

This is an age old RULE!

Unfortunately, this little oversight seems to have missed most of the brainwashed male-haters on this board!

This country EXPECTS laws against males and males alone. The media adverts have brainwashed men so much, that men are supposed to be 'stupid' and 'perverts', while women are always 'clean' and 'intelligent'.
The hate spewed against males, while sparing completely the women involved, is a CLEAR indication of this.

WAKE UP MALES! SPEAK UP!

demanding girls parents
by Mike c on Jun 01, 2009 07:13 PM  | Hide replies

I would not marry for money or status. But I woudl def prefer a working woman. As the current world is more demanding. But I would not say samehting for a girl. As far as I have seen, girls parents look for guy in USA or some other foreign country.I would not blame women for it. It is their demanding parents, who I guess want their daughter to be settled nicely.

Another funny thing about this is, the girls parents might have been in govt jobs and been living a middle class life. But when it comes to marriage of their daughters, they get too demanding. As if the girl was living a royal life before.

I call such people the ducated illiterates...and unfortunately, such people make up the majority of the middle class in India.......a blind devotion to the US name....i know one guy in our family, a distant relative who conned a girl's family into marrying him by selling the US dream.....on reaching there, the girl realized that he was a librarian drawing $35K per annum..........

I'am from an IIM.......
by Pramit Roy on Jun 01, 2009 07:01 PM  | Hide replies

I passed out of IIM Calcutta some years back and i can tell you, women are only after money...the guys in our batch who cracked the big US investment banks all got married within one year after passing out..

And the Chindi Chor cobblers who ended up with vada pao chaparasi companies like TCS or Infosys at a pittance of a salary have either married incredibly ordinary girls or are still single...hehehehe!!
