IF U R FATHER THAN U SHOULD REALISE THAT TIME WILL BE NEVER RETURN IF U MISSED OUT TO SEE UR CHILDREN GROWING......U WILL MISS OUT THE CHANCE OF A HAPPY FAMILY.....U CAN'T CULTIVATE A RIGHT FAMILY AND MORAL VALUES IN UR KIDS...U SHOULD BE HIMSELF A ROLE MODEL FOR UR KID.....BALACING PROFESSIONAL LIFE WITH FAMILY LIFE IS AN ART........
1. Whenever at home, spend time with kids - even watch cartoons with them in TV or play. 2. Have morning walks together say for 30 minutes. 3. Call over phone from office during lunch and talk about what happened in school, etc. 4. Remember - buying gifts shall not compensate for your time
If I say something that how I spend with my children, No one is going to believe in this forum. Contributors of this forum-if you are Dads please spend with your kids instead of wasting time in browsing.
I even miss out time with kids,so what I do whenever I get time I just take them out in my env friendly Reva car which thye enjoy most,I sometimes take them to school in the morning even when their regular van comes to pick them. Its imp to look for opportunities how u can spend time with them,I firmly believe that its necessary for their mental development.I feel we a father also must talk to them as more as possible. My wife also supports me to all my initiatives to have more interactions with them too.
Spending quality time with kids was the grandparent's job in the past era.. In this era of nuclear families one of the parents need to do it... If you are willing enough to sacrifice you an do it... that's my experience. I used to travel more than 5 ours(up & down taken together) just for that.

VIJAY MALLYA the best drunk............thatis right. Otherwise it may be a insult of natural parents.
Best option is to become a teacher in the school where kids study. Then the dad can take children to school along with him, come back home with them and also help them with their homework. He can also spend summer, winter and christmas holidays with kids
