Why should we behave differently to your female counterpart, we should behave in a similar manner to them as well as we are behaving to our male colleagues, as world says we should not differentiate male & female in office.
Let me know if any one has any counter points for this

Mr Ajay, do you behave the same way with the females at your home as with the females at your office. After all, the females at your home also should be treated as men. Second thing, how would you feel if the females at your home were to be employed and would be treated in a way as you wish to treat your female colleagues?? SO DEAR FRIEND, LEARN TO ACCEPT SOME THINGS IN LIFE WITHOUT QUESTIONING.

you are talking BS... Every where the women lib folks are harping on gender equality, why should it be different when it comes to office etiquette. Ajay is making a right point.

Mr/Ms Mang, do you mean that the "women lib folks" represent all the working / non-working women? Who decides whether what women lib folks say is agreeable to majority of women. Please update my knowledge by naming a couple of women lib organisations working in India. Get real, and then discuss.

i agree with Hari - i work in Mumbai and since last 4 yrs i have been seeing this, people talk in regional language - once i brought this to notice of seniors also but no action as he belonged to the same religion.
People should understand workplace is not your religion spreading space or workship - the only mode of communication in MNCs is English which should be adhered to, until other side is office staff - many of whom are comfortable in Hindi.
