Hello! I am suffering from Throat pain from last 2 yrs. its happens once in 3 months or when high cold is there outside around me.. for 1 & half day when ever i get this pain i could not talk,eat and drink properly. If i talk continuesly for 20-30 mins.in normalisation, I feel my throat burns.when i contacted doctor they said it is due to tauncil and suggested me to under go tauncil operation..what it is please suggest

Dear Amit,
I am living with Hypothyroidism for a few years now and any thyroxine tablet in appropriate dosage is good enough. However the medication does not set everything right in the recovery process. The trick is to make an extra effort to shed weight, bring down your weight and manage it within a healthy limit.
If you are on a thyroid medication and still feel lathargic, Meet a dietician to shed if any extra weight is there and adopt regular exercise.

Dear Sir Yes, the risk is very high. It is advsiable that children in general and girls in particular are screened for thyroid during the miles stones of their reprodcutive life.
