Dear Anju,

You wanted some FAQs, which I feel that are available with you. The first thing is see that you are prepared with your qualification, second you must be knowing the subject to the depth. For this you have understand the subject concept wise. You may not be requiring to know the complete thing but whatever you know you should know to the depth. See the things from the top angle, which will give you complete idea of the subject. Thirdly the most important practice this concept and tell yourself that "YOU CAN DO IT AND YOU WILL DO IT". Understand the meaning of it and have believe in yourself that you can complete the job irrespective of any situation. You have to give all the examples of what you have done, practiced and intend to do. It is not important to know what the other person is looking at, interested at or concerned at. Your intention should be to give the related answer with practicality following the truth. You can impress and will be selected. All the answers are there with you. Just you need to analyse yourself and concentrate on the subject matter in which you are preparing. Whatever amount of knowledge you know, show in a presentable way

I have been reading the articles regularly and they just give a very good insight for all the discussions that take place in an Interview. I am also into HR, and i could understand and relate to most of the answers included in the article. And honestly i am adopting the tips for my next job which i am looking for...

I request the author to come up with more articles pertaining to assessment of behavioural aspects of a candidate? This would not only help the interviewer but also for a candidate to prepare better for the discussion.

All i can say is, its a very refreshing reading the article!!

Regards,
Aparna

why should a company hire me?
by vaibhav on Sep 13, 2006 07:14 AM

I am from computers background. And i think the company should hire me because over a period of last three years, being in the BPO industry, i have learnt to work as a team, learnt how to motivate other team members, how to conduct team briefings and how to be self motivated. Apart from my technical skills I have these additional qualities, which i think is also essential in any organization if you want to grow faster.

And this is what I can offer you different from just technical side of the job, which i believe would be beneficial for you in the long run.
